Lockerby (35 km)

Lockerby Natural Area is a 319-acre site with aspen forest, grasslands, and wetlands. It provides paths for exploration, though some wetlands may require detours. The area supports wildlife including birds like Gray Catbirds and Mourning Doves, as well as moose, elk, and deer. Common plants include trembling aspen, paper birch, and balsam poplar. Lockerby connects to the Anne Pope Natural Area to the south, and additional protected land is across the road. The area is accessible from a small parking lot, but the paths do not cover the entire site.

Access: Head north from Ghost Pine General Store for 2.4 km.
