Len Thompson Pond

Len Thompson Pond - #163 in Alberta Discover Guide - 24.1 km from Red Deer

This pond is in Lacombe. From Highway 2A, turn E on Woodland Drive and then N on Len Thompson Drive to arrive at the pond. ACA stocks this pond annually with trout, typically before the May long weekend. Pack a lunch and enjoy a few minutes of solitude at the picnic tables. An annual Youth Fishing Day is held here each June. This pond also has the worlds largest lure which was installed in 2019.
