Wik is a 160-acre grassland with several ephemeral wetlands with Pine Lake Creek crossing the southwest corner, where beavers have created a pond. The property includes fenced sections to prevent overgrazing, and snags of aspen and willow trees provide nesting sites for birds like Tree Swallows. Common bird species include the Northern Shoveler, Gadwall, Mallard, and various sparrows. The area is home to wildlife such as the White-tailed Deer and Moose, and is vegetated with plants like Trembling Aspen, Willow, and Wild Rose. There are no designated paths but plenty of game trails to follow.
Access: From Ghost Pine General Store, head east on Highway 42 to Highway 816, then south for 9.6 km. Turn east on Highway 590 for 6.4 km, then north on Range Road 244 for 1.6 km.
