Warren (40.1 km)

Located 24 km southwest of Ponoka, this 160-acre site features wetlands and surrounding grassland areas that support wildlife such as moose, white-tailed and mule deer, and birds like Black-capped Chickadees, Black-billed Magpies, and Common Ravens. The site also shows muskrat activity with beaver lodges. Vegetation includes Trembling Aspen, Balsam Poplar, and Willow species, with Reed Canary Grass common in the area. The site primarily serves as important habitat for local wildlife and requires permission from NCC for access.
 
Access: To reach the site, head south from Crestomere on Highway 792 for 6.5 km, turn left onto Township Road 422 and go 3.2 km, then turn left onto Range Road 275. Contact the leaseholder for further directions.​
