Tees Trout Pond – ACA Fish Stocking (40.4 km)
Tees Trout Pond is stocked with trout each May and serves as a key water and food source for local wildlife. The area supports a variety of species, including Canada Geese, Common Ravens, Tree Swallows, Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Blue-winged Teals, and Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, along with mammals such as Muskrats, Beaver, Moose, and White-tailed Deer. The surrounding habitat features willows, balsam poplar, wild rose, and berry plants like raspberries, chokecherries, and silverberry. The campground offers five campsites, a gazebo, and a picnic table for small gatherings. A trail runs along the pond’s east side but does not loop due to beaver lodges and dense vegetation.
Access: To reach the reservoir, drive 1 km north of Tees on Highway 821; the pond is on the west side of the road.
