Stonhouse (26.3 km)
This nearly 800-acre property is located across from the Ghost Pine General Store and features diverse terrain, including aspen forests, grasslands, and wetlands. Situated in the Central Parkland region, it offers seasonal activities such as Saskatoon berry and chokecherry picking from mid-July to August. The area is home to various wildlife, including waterfowl, Ruffed Grouse, Red-tailed Hawks, Ovenbirds, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, Least Flycatchers, and Yellow Warblers. It also supports a stable population of beaver and ungulates and provides excellent overwintering habitat. Largely undisturbed due to its dense vegetation, the land supports plant species like Trembling Aspen, Balsam Poplar, and Canada Anemone. Navigation is relatively easy due to grazing.
Access: There are four approaches on the north side (Township Road 370), two on Highway 816, and two on Highway 42 on the south side.
