Ray’s Pond (33.5 km)

Ray's Pond, located west of Sylvan Lake, is a 10-acre site featuring a 4-acre pond stocked annually with rainbow trout by the Alberta Conservation Association. The pond offers excellent fishing opportunities and is complemented by a day use area with parking, restrooms, picnic tables, park benches, a dock, and a boardwalk. The pond is stocked each year, usually before the May long weekend.

Access: To reach the site from Benalto, head west on Highway 11 for 1 km, then north for 0.5 km.

Partners: ACA, AEP, & Lacombe County
Alberta Discover Guide: E3-71 (the map is incorrect; the boundary extends beyond the pond to the road, covering trees, parking, and more).
