Elizabeth Lake Trail (31.3 km)

Located in Lacombe, this conservation site features a well-maintained trail that connects to Cranna Lake Trail to the south. The trail does not circle the lake, but it offers a good hiking route, with occasional flooding possible. Kayaking is allowed on the lake, and visitors may spot birds like the Cooper’s Hawk, White-crowned Sparrow, and Bufflehead.

Access: In Lacombe, turn left onto Calgary Edmonton Trail, then left onto 58 Street. After 2.3 km, turn right onto Woodland Drive. The destination will be on the left.
