Blaikie (35.8 km)
Blaikie is a 320-acre natural area located about 8 km southwest of Delburne, offering a mix of aspen forest, shrubland, grasslands, and wetlands. The site supports a variety of wildlife, including moose, deer, and waterfowl, and serves as an important habitat for ungulates, particularly in the winter months. It is also home to bird species such as the American Wigeon, Sora, and Red-tailed Hawk. While there are no formal trails, the area is generally accessible.
Access: From Delburne, head south on Highway 21 for 5.1 km. Turn right onto Township Road 370 and drive 5.6 km. Turn left onto Range Road 242; the site is on the east side of the road.
